I am thrilled to join the Crick Software team as the new US Customer Experience & Marketing Consultant! I majored in Environmental Studies at Bucknell University and later went on to receive a Master’s degree in Childhood Education. After 10 years of teaching grades 1-5, I decided that I wanted to push myself further in my career by joining the EdTech industry. I became an Education Consultant for Promethean World, and I can’t wait to expand my customer experience and marketing skills even more with Crick!

My other passions include anything to do with animals, nature, friends, and family. I have three young nieces who I adore, and I live in a wonderful town in Connecticut with my fiancé and our black and white goldendoodle, Bessie. Our favourite  routine on the weekend is to go to town to get a coffee and a pup cup, walk with Bessie up and down Main Street, and end with some fun at the Dog Park.

Before joining Crick Software, I was a primary school teacher. While in the classroom, I taught across KS1 and KS2. I was also the Head of Art and DT, which enabled me to embrace my creative side and share my passion across the school. I am delighted to be joining the Crick team as their Customer Engagement Team Leader, as I knew that when I stepped out of the classroom, I still wanted a role that makes an impact in education.

When I am not working, I enjoy going for weekend walks, going to the gym and open water swimming. I also love to try out new recipes, get stuck into a new book and spend time with my friends, my family and my dog!

I’m excited to be the latest addition to Crick’s UK Customer Experience team. Before joining Crick Software, I was a primary school teacher - I taught across KS1 and KS2, leading History, Science and Geography. After devoting many years to this profession, I wanted a new adventure, but one where I could still make a difference. Luckily, I found Crick! I am thrilled to have moved to a job where I can implement my teaching expertise, helping schools to support and empower their learners through Clicker and DocsPlus.

In my spare time, I like to keep active. I regularly run, often completing charity 5km or 10km races. I also enjoy baking and visiting National Trust properties to satisfy my love of history.
