Mada Assistive Technology Center Launches Clicker 7 Arabic

12th December 2018

You might remember in May 2018 I announced that Crick Software was translating our award-winning Clicker 7 into Arabic.

Mada Assistive Technology Center officially launched Clicker 7 Arabic at an event on the 7th November 2018.

As part of their Innovation Program, Mada supported the translation project and acquired 150 site licenses of Clicker 7 Arabic. These will enable around 30,000 students to benefit from our literacy tool.

During the event Mada ran a training workshop for 60 teachers and specialists. The Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Fawzia Al Khater, spoke to the media about the release of the Arabic version of Clicker 7.

“This collaboration with Mada aims at providing supportive technology for people with special needs in order for them to be able to continue their educational endeavour.”
