Flying high with Clicker

December 6, 2023

Did you know that it was 120 years ago that Orville and Wilbur Wright made their first flight? On LearningGrids, we have Clicker resources to help your students learn the science behind flying and to commemorate Wright Brothers Day on December 17th.

We recently published a series of activities about the forces of flight. Students can read about the importance of weight, lift, thrust, and drag in the Forces of Flight Clicker Book. Use the Clicker Board with the class to consolidate students’ understanding of the four forces. They can then use the Connect Set, Talk Set, or Word Banks to share their learning in a piece of writing or as an oral presentation.
