The Predictor doesn't work

The Predictor icon is dimmed out and can't be used.

Resolution

The Predictor database was probably corrupted during installation.

To resolve the problem:

Windows

  1. Close Clicker / DocsPlus.
  2. Open any folder in Windows.
  3. Type the following location into the address bar and press the Enter key:
    C:\ProgramData\Crick Software
  4. Right-click the Predictor folder and choose Delete.
  5. Launch Clicker / DocsPlus and wait 5-20 seconds for the Predictor icon to become active.

Mac

  1. Close Clicker / DocsPlus.
  2. Browse to the following location in Finder:
    Macintosh HD\Library\Application Support\Crick Software
  3. Right-click the Predictor folder and choose Move to Trash.
  4. Launch Clicker / DocsPlus and wait 5-20 seconds for the Predictor icon to become active.

Foreign Languages

The Predictor icon may be dimmed if you open a Clicker Set / Wordbar file designed for a foreign language.

French and Spanish prediction databases are included with our Clicker MFL titles.
