Manage licenses for Windows / Mac
- Log in to activate.cricksoft.com.
- On the Current Licensing page, click View in your chosen package. Here you can view Devices as well as Recent Activations.
- The Devices tab shows a summary of current licenses available and licenses used.
- To remove an active license, click Remove license.
- The Recent activations tab shows the status of the devices:
- OK - currently installed and active.
- Not enough licenses – all licenses have been allocated to other devices.
- Device blocked – gives you the option to restore a license to use on this device – this has previously had a license allocated to it in the past.
- OK - currently installed and active.
- Click Add a note to this license... - here you can add a note of who may be using this license.
Home use benefits
If you have a Site License, you’re entitled to home use codes for all parents and teachers. To generate home use codes for the apps, please contact support@cricksoft.com.
To generate home use codes for Windows/Mac, follow the instructions below:
Please note: home use licenses expire after 12 months, so you will need to redistribute these on an annual basis to the relevant users.
- Head to activate.cricksoft.com and sign in.
- On the Current Licensing page, scroll down to the Benefits section.
- Click View.
- Click Start Sharing – this will reveal the Download Letter option.
- Click Download Letter to print the letters for parents and staff – this includes everything needed to download and install the software.
- Alternatively, the link below can be shared by clicking Copy. This can then be sent via email to parents and staff (this is recommended as it reduces input errors).
- This link expires after 28 days or when you click Stop Sharing - please note that if you select this option, the link will permanently stop working, so ensure everyone you have provided this to has used it before you click here!
Windows/Mac
- Head to activate.cricksoft.com and sign in.
- On the Current Licensing page, scroll down to the Management section.
- Click + Add manager to organisation.
- Enter the email address of the person you are adding and then select their role:
- Manager - Can view and manage your organisation’s licensing.
- Owner - Can view and manage your organisation’s licensing. Can also add or remove subscription managers.
- Manager - Can view and manage your organisation’s licensing.
- Click Add.
