How do I save a DocsPlus Document as a Word Document or PDF?

You would like your DocsPlus Document to be readable in other programs.


To save a copy of the Document:

  1. Click the Save arrow in the top Document ribbon tab and choose Save Document As.
  2. Choose a location to save the file, give it a name, and then click the Save as type dropdown box and choose Microsoft Word Document (.docx) or Portable Document Format (.pdf).

To set the default file type for new Documents going forward:

  1. Click User Preferences in the top Options ribbon tab.
  2. In the Document tap, click the Default filetype box and choose a format.
