Crick Software launches Clicker 7 Arabic

May 9, 2018

Over the past six months, I have visited schools in the Middle East several times to demonstrate and provide training on Clicker 7. I am often asked if Clicker 7 could also be used in Arabic.

I’m delighted to announce that we are launching Clicker 7 Arabic this month in a project supported by Mada Assistive Technology Center!

Here is what the translated Quick Start screen will look like:

Arabic Quick Start Screen

Clicker 7 Arabic is much more than an Arabic add-on for Clicker 7; it is a full translation, including the interface, Predictor, spell checker, and picture library. The tools for users to quickly create their own resources, such as Sentence Sets and Connect Sets, have also been fully translated.

It includes realistic, human-sounding Arabic voices, and we have translated the Clicker 7 example activities too.

Sentence Set

Clicker 7 Arabic is a dual language version, providing the versatility of both Arabic and English writing support within a proven literacy program.

We are thrilled to be able to finally announce this, and can’t wait for schools to start using it! Please contact me at phil.hackett@cricksoft.com if you would like more information about Clicker 7 Arabic.
