You can record but playback is silent and the Done button is dimmed out, so you can't finish.

Resolution

Please allow the app to use your iPad's microphone:

1. Open the iPad's Settings app.
2. In the left pane, scroll down and select the app.
3. On the right, enable access to the Microphone.

It should now be possible to record successfully.
