Each story comes with a range of Clicker activities, which are based on specific literacy objectives.

Matching activities The matching activities encourage students to look for patterns, from simple picture and word matching to listen-and-find activities. These can also be printed out and cut up, to make cards for table-top activities.
Sentence activities In the sentence activities, students build sentences in the Clicker Writer to help to reinforce the features of sentence construction. You can use them to practice the vocabulary from the story, or to focus on the key elements of sentences.
Word activities The word activities reinforce recognition of high-frequency words, as well as their spelling. You can print out the words as "flash cards", or use them on-screen, along with Clicker's speech facility, to check word recognition.
Question activities These question activities are designed to encourage students to understand and respond to questions about the books. There are word-based questions and picture-based questions, asking which of the characters did what in the story. These are particularly suitable for students who may find it difficult to respond in words.
Writing activities Pre-prepared Clicker Grids enable students to compose their own stories, based on the themes of the books. You can also print these out, for students to write their stories away from the computer.
Book making activities Here, the book is set up with pictures, but without text, so you can write the stories with your students. You can do this on-screen, or print the activities.
