Emerging Writers
Early writers can paint a picture to show the main idea, helping them to think about what they want to write.
They may paint pictures to illustrate anecdotal writing or paint several pictures in sequence, helping them to organize their ideas, and to develop an understanding of beginning, middle, and end in story writing. Or of course they may simply want to paint a picture to illustrate their story and really enhance their finished work.
'Myself' activity
This Clicker Paint set encourages children to talk about themselves. On each page children paint pictures to match captions about themselves and their things. Then they record a commentary about the pictures on the final page of the activity.
