Accessibility
With Clicker Paint, learners using switches create their own illustrations. The tools and colors scan, and the canvas can contain any number of Sticky Points that are automatically scanned.
Some of our Clicker Paint activities only require one tool so all the others are removed, reducing the number of items to be scanned. Also, some activities begin with a fixed picture on a background, so the student does not have to start with a blank canvas.
Coloring and stamping activities are particularly successful with switches, giving users with disabilities access to creative activities not normally available to them.
Coloring activity
Switch users scan between the sticky points to color the ladybug, using a minimum number of switch presses to complete the picture. |
Stamping activity
Here, switch users select a sea creature and then scan the rows and columns of sticky points to position it on the canvas. |
