Supporting Individualized Education Programs

Clicker is based on the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and is designed to be used by learners of all abilities, from the most able to the severely disabled. Clicker offers a range of both curriculum and accessibility support, so that it can be tailored to meet individual needs within the IEP.

Enabling education in the Least Restrictive Environment

IDEA states that, to the fullest extent possible, students with disabilities should be educated alongside peers in the general education environment. Clicker is carefully designed with support features for students with all kinds of disabilities, including physical access needs and low vision. At the same time, we make those support features totally flexible, so that the software is perfect for students of all abilities.

In schools using Clicker, students with special needs use the same software as their peers. This greatly boosts students' self-esteem – so much better than giving them “special” software! They are given appropriate access to the same curriculum without the teacher having to learn new software for their students with special needs.

Research-based

When you buy Clicker, you are investing in software built upon tried, tested, and scientifically proven methodologies. Clicker is based on proven educational principles that are emphatically underlined by the extensive research overview undertaken by the National Reading Panel.
