Pictures

The pictures in the Planet Wobble stories contain a great deal of detail and at times offer sub-plots. This makes them an ideal basis for discussion. See for example Ella's Bedtime (Level 2 Set A) where Ella acquires a pet spider as a sub-plot to the narrative. In the same book the contents of Ella's room could form the basis for a good talking point. What can the children see? What is the same as in their bedroom? What is different?

The animation (activated by the 'animation' button) will help children to focus on the content and draw their attention to detail they may not have noticed.
