Before Clicker Paint, it was practically impossible for switch users to create their own illustrations. Now that has changed. With Clicker Paint, you can color in line drawings, create patterns from stamps, even do freehand drawings - and you can do it all with switches!
The tools, colors, and options all scan, and the canvas can contain any number of Sticky PointsTM that are automatically scanned. All our ready-made activities contain Sticky Points, so there's nothing you have to set up. Yet if you want to customize an activity, it's really easy to edit any of the sticky points and add new ones.
As well as freehand drawing, switch users can color in pictures with a minimum of switch presses. In the picture above, the spots on the ladybird can be filled in individually or all in one go!
You can use Clicker Paint with switches as a stand-alone product, but it's even better when integrated with Clicker. Your Clicker 5 access settings are automatically applied to Clicker Paint, so users can easily start creating their own illustrated story books, complete with illustrations, text, and recorded sound.
Some of our Clicker Paint activities only require one tool, so all the others are removed, meaning that only a small number of items need to be scanned. Also, some activities begin with a fixed picture on the background, so the student does not have to start with a blank canvas. For more advanced users, you can start with all the tools and colors, a blank canvas, and lots of Sticky Points in regular rows and columns.
Getting your switch users started with Clicker Paint is easy. All the activities that we provide, both with the product and on LearningGrids.com, are switch accessible, and we cover a wide ability range. You'll also find it easy to modify our activities and create your own.
We believe Clicker Paint is the most inclusive paint program ever to be developed!
