Job Title: Sales and Marketing Administrator

Reporting to: Sales Director

Job Summary

Crick Software is looking for an independent, flexible, efficient, and proactive individual to:

  • Manage the marketing activity of the US office.
  • Manage all aspects of daily office administration.
  • Support the sales team across a broad range of their activities in order to achieve sales targets and maximize the company’s market penetration.

This is a key role in the organization and will require a motivated self-starter willing to be involved in all aspects of marketing, office management and sales support for their office in Westport, CT.

Our main product, Clicker, is the winner of multiple industry awards and is used extensively in schools to support students of all abilities.  Alongside this are both fiction and non-fiction resources powered by Clicker.  Other applications in the family of products include WriteOnline to support older writers, and ClozePro for creating assessment activities.

Job Description

  • Manage and implement the US marketing plan.
  • Manage and coordinate the administration and marketing of tradeshows and other outbound events (regional and national).
  • Manage all incoming telephone and email customer inquiries to ensure a high level of customer service.
  • Support processing of orders to include scanning orders, dealing with order queries, and banking checks.
  • Oversee general office facilities management.
  • Manage and implement the agreed Crick Partnership contact schedule (Advocates, Preview Centers and Contacts) to ensure that we are contacting this important group of customers on an ongoing basis.
  • Manage US reseller channel – sales information, pricelists, reseller website product and price monitoring.
  • Provide sales support and calendar management for the sales team.

Ideally candidate will be/have:

  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office proficiency is essential).
  • Experience of writing marketing collateral.
  • Exceptionally well organized.
  • Flexible.
  • Practical, with business acumen.
  • Highly motivated, responsible, and a self starter.
  • Good presentation, disposition, and professional appearance.
  • Commercially aware, motivated, and disciplined.
  • Good telephone manner.
  • Responsive to customer needs and requirements.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Determined and conscientious.
  • Team player.
  • Initiative.
