The Find Out & Write About Explorers resource introduces children to explorers throughout the ages, from early travellers to the East, to the polar explorers of the twentieth century.

Pupils find out about discoverers of the East like Marco Polo; explorers of the world such as Christopher Columbus; and the routes of conquerors of the New World such as Hernando Cortes. They study the world with David Livingstone and Mary Kingsley, and follow the stories of the polar explorers Robert Peary, Roald Amundsen and Robert Scott.

The information is presented at 3 levels. All levels use clear, recorded speech, and the text is highlighted as it is read. Each level also includes a talking glossary.
