Find Out & Write About Castles enables pupils to learn more about about life in a castle.

Children learn about the different people who lived in the castle, look at the cut-away of the keep and read about the main rooms such as the great hall, the solar and the kitchen. They also find out about how castles were attacked and defended; the walls, gatehouse, moat, catapults, battering rams and siege towers.

The information is presented at 3 levels. All levels use clear, recorded speech, and the text is highlighted as it is read. Each level also includes a talking glossary.
