At the River
'At the River' by Alison Jarred and Nadja Roelofs is a fun cumulative story about 'who's eating who' at the river. After reading the story, children can learn more about the animals in a factual book featuring photographs of each river animal.
The accompanying activities provide many opportunities for children to engage with the vocabulary and information. They include matching, spelling, sentence building, comprehension, sequencing events, text innovation, report writing and poetry writing.
All on-screen books and activities are presented at two differentiated levels of ability.
The printed Clicker Book comes with an accompanying CD-ROM, containing an on-screen version of the book and associated Clicker activities.
