I am a general Teaching Assistant and also the IT support. I have been using Clicker mainly as an interactive whiteboard resource. It covers all aspects of the curriculum from literacy, maths and science as well as for cross-curricular work. In the school we have used it for mainstream children and those with special needs from nursery up to year 2. I download sets of new grids every few weeks to make sure we are kept up-to-date with those grids on the website. We either use them as they are or make changes to them to make them more appropriate for our learning objectives.

and I then ask the children to sequence them"This week in class the pupils are learning all about days of the week, months of the year and the seasons. The whole range is found easily on Clicker, either as an example grid, or downloaded from the LearningGrids website of resources. As we are using the interactive whiteboard, all the children can get involved and make use of the clear and accurate information from Clicker. We then work through the grids provided which enable all the children to get involved, whatever their ability level. They start off with the days of the week, and I then ask the children to sequence them.
The sound feedback in Clicker helps the children to become more independent. They also really like the clear layout of the Clicker grids, it is so much easier for them to draft and revise their work using the key vocabulary provided in the grid. It is such a useful tool for all curriculum areas and for children of all abilities.
