Clicker Paint
Emerging Writers
Early writers can paint a picture to show the main idea, helping them to think about what they want to write.
They may paint pictures to illustrate anecdotal writing or paint several pictures in sequence, helping them to organise their ideas, and to develop an understanding of beginning, middle and end in story writing. Or of course they may simply want to paint a picture to illustrate their story and really enhance their finished work.
'Myself' activity This Clicker Paint set encourages children to talk about themselves. They paint pictures to match captions and then record a commentary. Each page contains a caption, prompting children to paint a picture of themselves and their possessions. On the final page children record a commentary about the pictures. | | |
