Clicker Paint

Accessibility

With Clicker Paint, switch users create their own illustrations. The tools and colours scan, and the canvas can contain any number of Sticky Points that are automatically scanned.

Some of our Clicker Paint activities only require one tool so all the others are removed, reducing the number of items to be scanned. Also, some activities begin with a fixed picture on a background, so the pupil does not have to start with a blank canvas.

Colouring and stamping activities are particularly successful with switches, giving users with disabilities access to creative activities not normally available to them.

Switch users scan between the sticky points to colour the ladybird, using a minimum number of switch presses to complete the picture.

Here, switch users select a sea creature, then scan the rows and columns of sticky points to position it on the canvas.
