New releases at BETT 2003

Crick Software, winner of 7 BETT Awards, announces the launch of a number of exciting new releases at BETT 2003.

Crick's newest release, ClozePro, provides cloze activities to be used both on-screen and as printed worksheets. Stimulating materials can be created in seconds to enhance teaching and learning in any subject area.

Use any text by either typing or simply copying and pasting (eg from a web site) into ClozePro and then take out every nth word, or specify the words to remove, all with a few clicks of the mouse. ClozePro offers speech and picture support and is suitable for children of all ages and abilities.

Also new at BETT 2003 is Daisy, a new series of Clicker books following the adventures of Daisy and her pet dinosaur, Thingy. Alongside the on-screen and printed books are activities based on key literacy objectives.

New Planet Wobble materials will be on show at BETT 2003 for the first time. Following its successful launch at last year's BETT show, Planet Wobble is being used across a variety of ages and abilities for practice and reinforcement of early reading and writing skills. Activities can be extended by visiting the website at www.planetwobble.com and emailing the characters.
