New, free resources at clickergrids.com
Crick Software are launching their new-look Clicker Grids for Learning
site today at www.clickergrids.com
The new site has been set up to deal with the demand resulting
from the current success of Clicker Grids for Learning. Launched
last autumn on the company’s website, monthly figures have
shown a rapid growth in use.
As ever, Crick is responding positively to the needs of teachers.
“More and more teachers are coming on-line and using the Internet
as part of their normal routine,” said Ann Crick, Curriculum
Director. “In response to that, our new-look site is even
easier to use by those searching for materials to use in their classrooms.”
Clicker is an award-winning support tool for writing and reading,
with exciting multimedia features. This growing bank of free resources
continues to keep Clicker at the leading edge of new technology
in schools. Clicker Grids are now used by thousands of children
in primary schools throughout the UK and abroad.
In addition, the new site is offering resources for Wordbar, a
unique writing support tool for older students. Secondary teachers,
who have been bowled over by the simplicity and user friendliness
of this program, will welcome this news. The bank of Wordbar grids
will further extend its use across all areas of the curriculum.
Along with the Clicker Grids, they will be added to regularly, by
practising teachers as well as the curriculum team at Crick. Crick
is well known as a company that listens and responds to feedback.
The introduction of free registration on the site will increase
the opportunities for this.
The address of the new site is www.clickergrids.com
or it can be accessed at Crick Software’s site at www.cricksoft.com.
Visitors can see the top ten downloaded files and browse through
over 100 sets of resources arranged in curriculum-based categories.
Any of them can be downloaded instantly ready for use in the classroom.
