Web Developer
As a leading player in the educational software market, Crick Software is passionate about promoting literacy amongst children of all abilities. We employ creative minds and professionally qualified individuals to produce innovative and flexible products widely used across the UK, the US and Australia. The company is looking for a Web Developer to join our Northampton-based development team.

The Role
Responsibilities will include:

• Create and maintain web applications using ASP.NET and Visual Studio 2005 and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Testing web applications using both Unit Testing and working closely with our QA team.
• Break-down project specifications into milestones to allow project completion to be assessed accurately.
• Ensure web sites and servers are secure, reliable and responsive.

The Candidate
Professionally qualified with:

• 2 years or more industry experience with ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL Server
• Good knowledge of web accessibility, AJAX and Unit testing an advantage
• Excellent problem solving skills and a methodical approach
• Ability to work independently

A Microsoft certification such as MCPD or MCAD would be beneficial.

Salary
Negotiable according to experience.
