WOLWH4 - How do I register Students on our LearningGrids site?

You would like to register one or more Students on your school’s LearningGrids Site.


There are two methods available to register Students on your LearningGrids site:

Register a single Student

To register a single Student who doesn't already have a LearningGrids account:

  1. Open the Manage Site tab.
  2. Click Students on the left.
  3. Click Register new Student on the left.
  4. Supply the required information, then click Save.
  5. Notify the Student of their new account details.

Import multiple Students

To import multiple Students, you can upload a .CSV file containing the first name, last name and date of birth as separate fields for each Student.

It can optionally contain username, password (these are generated if not supplied), year group/grade level, class and unique id fields.

  1. Open the Manage Site tab.
  2. Click Students on the left.
  3. Click Import Students on the left.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.


Please note, only the registered LearningGrids Site Manager can create Student accounts.

If you log into LearningGrids as a Teacher or Student, the Manage Site tab does not appear.
