DPWH32 - An error occurs when you try to launch DocsPlus
When you try to launch DocsPlus, one or more of the following error messages appear:
The program can't start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer.
Cannot find 'MSVCP140.dll'. Please, re-install this application.
DocsPlus has stopped working.
To solve the problem, download and install the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 from Microsoft:
Log into the computer as an Administrator.
Click this link to start the download:
When the download has finished, run the downloaded vc_redist.x86.exe file. Accept the license agreement and then click Install.
When the installation has finished, restart the computer.
DocsPlus should now launch correctly with no error messages.
DocsPlus uses various Visual C++ components.
On rare occasions, these components don't register properly when DocsPlus gets installed. Manually installing the Visual C++ components solves the problem.
