DPWH21 - How do I stop the on-screen keyboard from appearing?

Applies To

  • DocsPlus for Windows

When you try typing in a cell or text box, the on-screen keyboard always appears, even if your device doesn't have a touch screen.

In rare circumstances, DocsPlus can mistakenly detect a computer as having a touch screen when it doesn’t. This causes DocsPlus to operate in “tablet mode” and display the on-screen keyboard whenever you input text.

To solve the problem:

  1. In the top Options ribbon tab, click Program Management.
  2. In the Advanced tab, enable This computer has a physical keyboard and click OK.

The Windows on-screen keyboard will no longer appear automatically when typing in DocsPlus.
