C7WH23 - How can I stop the on-screen keyboard from appearing?
When you try typing in a cell or text box, the on-screen keyboard always appears, even if your device doesn't have a touch screen.
In rare circumstances, Clicker 7 can mistakenly detect a computer as having a touch screen when it doesn’t. This causes Clicker 7 to operate in “tablet mode” and display the on-screen keyboard whenever you input text.
To solve the problem:
- In the top Help ribbon tab, click About Clicker 7 and check that your Version is 7.0.277 or higher.
If it's lower, download and install the latest version of Clicker 7 from here.
- In the top Options ribbon tab, click Program Management.
- In the Advanced tab, enable This computer has a physical keyboard and click OK.
The on-screen keyboard will no longer appear automatically when typing in Clicker 7.
