Your Crick USB Switch Box is not working on your computer.


Before proceeding with a warranty exchange for your Crick USB Switch box, there are a number of things you can do to determine if the Switch Box is faulty.

Connect the Switch Box to another USB port on your computer.

In some cases, you may find that restarting your computer can help restore a connection.

Use a different USB cable to connect the Switch Box to your computer.

It may be possible that there is a fault or damage to the USB cable.

Connect the Switch Box to a different computer.

If the Switch Box works on another computer, then there is possibly a fault with the USB ports on your computer. It is also a good idea to try on a different brand of computer too.

Connect to the mains power supply.

If you are using a laptop, please ensure that you are connected to the power supply rather than battery power alone.

Use a powered USB Hub.

In some cases, there may not be enough power provided to the USB ports by your computers motherboard to power the USB Switch Box. By using a powered USB Hub, the computer will be able to connect to the USB device. You can even connect more than 1 device to each port at the same time.

Uninstall and reinstall the USB Controllers. (Microsoft Windows)

Please seek assistance from your IT Administrator or computer vendor.

If after attempting each of these steps, you find that the Crick USB Switch box is not working, then, providing it is less than a year old, you can return it to us for testing.
